TERMS OF SERVICE

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, installing, or using the services provided by Vortex Cannon Entertainment (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the website mageroyal.com and our game software (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you don’t agree with these rules, please don’t use our services.

  1. Who Can Play (Eligibility)

You must be 18 years or older to play our games and use our services. If you are under 18, we are sorry, but you cannot legally accept this agreement, and you must not use our Service.

  1. Play Fair (License & Restrictions)

We want everyone to have fun. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable, and limited license to play our games, but you must respect the community.

Here is what you CANNOT do:

  • No Hacking: Do not use cheats, hacks, bots, mods, or any third-party software that can destabilize our servers, cause lag, or negatively affect the game performance for everyone.
  • No Toxicity: Don’t harass, threaten, or abuse other players or our staff. Hate speech and bullying are strictly banned.
  • No RMT (Real Money Trading): Selling your account, in-game progress, or in-game items for real money is strictly prohibited.
  • No Breaking Stuff: Don’t try to hack our servers, compromise other users’ accounts, or reverse-engineer our game software.
  1. Your Account

You are the owner of your account, and you are solely responsible for it.

  • Keep your password safe.
  • If someone else uses your account to break the rules (even if you didn’t know about it), your account will still be held responsible.
  • Let us know immediately if you suspect your account has been hacked or compromised.
  1. Virtual Goods and Subscriptions

When you buy “Gold,” “Skins,” or subscribe to our “Premium” or other membership plans, you are purchasing a limited, non-refundable, non-transferable license to use digital content, not physical property.

  • No Ownership: You do not “own” the pixels; you own the right to use them while the game exists and (for subscriptions) while your payment is active.
  • No Real Value: In-game items and subscription perks have no cash value, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be traded for real-world currency or goods.
  • Subscription Perks: Benefits provided by a subscription are only active while the subscription is active. If your subscription expires or is canceled, you may lose access to specific features, items, or boosts associated with it.
  1. Refunds and Payments, and Subscriptions

Please read this carefully. We want to be transparent about money.

6.1. The “Used Ticket” Rule

Think of a purchase in our game or subscription like a movie ticket.

  • Before you enter: You might be eligible for a refund under local laws.
  • After you enter: Once you log in to the game or access your subscription benefits, you have “torn the ticket.” At this exact moment the service is considered fully delivered.

Therefore: We generally do not offer refunds once you have logged in to the game after a purchase.

6.2. Recurring Subscriptions (Auto-Renewal)

If you purchase a recurring subscription (e.g., Monthly Premium Pass):

  • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew each month at the then-current rate. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method every month until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription auto-renewal at any time. To do so, please go to your Account and click the “Cancel” button. The process is completely frictionless and does not require contacting support.
  • Effect of Cancellation: If you cancel, you will continue to have access to your subscription benefits until the end of your current billing cycle. We do not offer partial or prorated refunds for the remainder of the month. Once the billing cycle ends, you will not be charged again, and your benefits will stop.
  • Payment Failures: If we cannot charge your card (e.g., it expired), your subscription and access to premium benefits will be suspended immediately.

6.3. Right of Withdrawal and Waiver (For EU/EEA/UK Players)

Under consumer protection laws in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and the United Kingdom (UK), consumers have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from online contracts (a “cooling-off” period) and receive a refund.

However, this right does not apply to digital content or digital services once performance has begun with your consent.
The Waiver: By checking the consent box at checkout (before payment) and requesting immediate access to our games, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of this contract (the “tearing of your ticket” as described in Section 6.1).
Acknowledgment: You acknowledge and agree that once you log in, access the game, or receive subscription benefits, you waive and lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and refund.

6.4. Chargebacks

If you have an issue with a payment, please contact our support first. We are reasonable people and will work with you to resolve any errors. If you bypass us and force a refund through your bank (chargeback), we consider this fraud and will permanently ban your account.

  1. Our Right to Manage the Game (Bans Policy)

We work hard to keep the game safe and fun. To do this, we need full control over who accesses our Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or ban your account at any time, for any reason (or no reason), with or without notice.

Usually, we ban for fraud or toxicity. But legally, we hold the right to refuse service to anyone to protect our game and company. If your account is banned or terminated, you lose all in-game items, virtual goods, and account progress. We are under no obligation to compensate you for this loss.

  • Effect on Subscriptions: If your account is banned for violating these Terms, your subscription will be terminated immediately, and you will not receive a refund for any remaining time on your subscription.
  1. Disclaimers (The “As Is” Clause)

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

  1. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VORTEX CANNON ENTERTAINMENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you are also protected by the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

  1. Changes to Terms

Games change, and so do rules. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.
